Rafael Scarfullery

Rafael Scarfullery came to South Roanoke UMC early 2008. He is a composer, conductor, organist, and classical guitarist who has won several awards for his cultural projects, performances, and compositions. He teaches at Sweet Briar College and his performances have taken him throughout the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Turkey, Venezuela, Canada, and the U.S.A.  He has a Bachelor of Music degree from Brooklyn College, two Master of Music degrees (performing and orchestral conducting), and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Shenandoah University.
