ASP (Appalachian Service Project) - Week long mission trip for youth and adults that work with families less fortunate than our own in the Appalachian area. Advent Angel Tree – We collect Christmas gifts for needy children in the Roanoke and Rocky Mount area.

Trinity U.M.C. Leaders for a small
group for Christian Kids’ Club on Wednesday nights, 6 to 7:30 p.m. People to share a hobby or interest with a group of 8-10 children on Thursday nights, 6 to 7:30 p.m., for a period of 6 weeks (Anything from babysitting to basketball) Youth volunteers to work with the Youth Director, Wednesday or Thursday, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tutors to work with adults who are studying for their G.E.D. exams; times to be arranged. Drivers for a 15-passenger van or 23 passenger bus, any night 5:30 to 6 and 7:30 to 8 p.m. At the Satellite Centers, St. Paul UMC and West End UMC Volunteers for the
Christian Kids’ Clubs on Thursday nights, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Volunteers to work with the Youth Director at the new group for the satellites Volunteer Orientation will be held Tuesday, August 29th, 7 p.m., at Trinity UMC; however you can “join in” after that date.
