+Call to Worship
Minister: Teach us your ways, O Holy One; teach us to walk in your paths.
People: Invite us to humility; to a holy relationship with all creation.

Minister: Lead us to walk in love and faithfulness.
People: Turn our hearts to integrity.

Minister: Redeem us, O Holy One, and bring us to refuge in you.
                                                                                          -Inspired by Psalm 25
Prayer of Confession (In Unison)
Loving God, you call us your beloved sons and daughters even when we are most unlovable. Your promises of abundant life reveal your yearning for us to know ourselves and each other as beloved. We confess that we choose over and over to act from places of unlove within us. We confess that we harden our hearts against one another. We confess that we ignore our baptismal covenant with you and with creation. Reshape us in these days of Lent, that we may emerge from them as Jesus emerged from the river Jordan blessed by your Holy spirit and radiant with your image. Amen.

Anthem                            When In Our Music God Is Glorified                              Ziegenhals
     1. When in our music God is glorified, And adoration leaves no room for pride, It is as though the whole creation cried: Alleluia!
     2. How often, making music, we have found a new dimension in the world of sound, As worship moved us to a more profound Alleluia!
     3. So has the Church in liturgy and song, In faith and love, through centuries of wrong, Borne witness to the truth in every tongue, Alleluia!
     4. And did not Jesus sing a Psalm that night When utmost evil strove against the Light? Then let us sing, for whom He won the fight: Alleluia!
     5. Let every instrument be tuned for praise! Let all rejoice who have a voice to raise! And may God give us faith to sing always: Alleluia!
