A sign up sheet is on the bulletin board by the church office if you would like to volunteer to teach the combined Sunday school classes for the summer. Classes are divided up with ages 4-1st grade and 2nd grade-5th grade. We need your help!! ON THURSDAY, JULY 11 the Adult Fellowship Group will travel to the P. Buckley Moss Museum and Flower Farm. They will leave at 8:00 a.m. and return around 5:30 p.m. There will be a narrated tour of the Moss museum at 10:00 (those not interested could go to the outlet mall next door.) Lunch will be at the Mossy Creek Cafe, and then on to the Day Lily farm of Andre Viette before returning to Roanoke. Sign up on the board by the church office if you would like to participate in this outing. YOUTH DIRECTOR POSITION: Cave Spring United Methodist Church, Roanoke, seeks a person to coordinate all aspects of Youth Ministry. Requirements: Sound Christian character familiar with and committed to United Methodist Doctrine and tradition; able to work with staff, parents, and youth; able to nurture youth in their faith. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in experience or training. Salary negotiable. COUNCIL ON MINISTRIES MEMBERS are asked to have their projected 2003 goals to Penny Haynes no later than July 12. You are asked to help us prepare for our Council on Ministries Planning Retreat, July 22-23, Fellowship Hall, 6:30-9:30 p.m., by meeting this time schedule. PERIODICALLY, OUR PRESCHOOL IS IN NEED of substitute teachers during the school year. Experience is preferred but not required. There will be another teacher in the classroom to work with during the school day. A nominal fee is paid to our substitutes for their services. Teachers make every effort to call and arrange for a substitute as early as possible but there are times when a request may be made with short notice.
