Lenten Offering Emphasis                                 Dr. Diane D’Orazio
Call to Worship
We look squarely into the reality of what it means to be a mortal
     creature.
We ask God to help us understand our predicament in sin
     and death.

Never forget, brothers and sister, that God gave us his Son.
Jesus is our hope. Jesus is our all-in-all.
Opening Prayer
     The Lord be with you.
     And also with you.

Let us pray:
In the depths of our souls, O Lord, we celebrate your presence among us. Through the Holy Spirit you are an abiding presence in our lives. You alone guide the thoughts of our hearts. As we consider anew our place in the realm of God, make us mindful that you use our tongues and hearts as ways to communicate the gospel to those in distress. May you bless the work of our lives in the service of Christ, in whom we pray. Amen.
+Hymn 451                     Be Thou My Vision                    Slane
A Baptism Song        A Hymn About Baptism         Cherub Choir

You were baptized when so small, for God’s love accepts us all. You are blessed, forgiven, free, member of God’s family!
Yes, you were baptized! Yes, you are God’s child! Yes, you are fam’ly! Within the church always!
Washed by water, blessed by love, symbol a descending dove. Arms which held you, hands laid on celebrate your life begun!
Yes, you were baptized! Yes, you are God’s child! Yes, you are fam’ly! Within the church always!
